For me, some of the best I have seen were-
sepultura- worls chaos tour 1994
edguy- mandrake tour 2002
slayer- divine intervention 1994
deicide- aussie tour 1995 ( ithink it was supporting once upon a cross)
angra- both sydney shows 2005
nightwish- once tour 2005
anthrax at the metro 2004
malmsteen at selinas 1999
ministry- bdo sydney 1995
primus -bdo (hordern pavillion) 1994
deep purple- newcastle ent 2000
of all these its probably slayer, edguy, sepultura and angra that stand out the most.
if you see the lukelord at a gig come up and say hi and have a beer with me!!

I haven't been to many 'big' shows as of such, but:
Children Of Bodom - 2005 was unreal!
In Flames - 2004
Under Raven Skies Festival - 2005
It's a bit hard getting to a decent metal gig.. I live 220km from Sydney! |

Oli (HM Admin) went to the first Bodom show and was very disappointed, and did not wanna humiliate the band by writing a horrid review of the show.
Couldn’t have been worse than Nightwish I say! |

MFTB 05 was one hell of a show, even though I only really saw Portal, GOTH, Astriaal and Psycroptic. |

best concert ... hard to say. Think I'll have to go non-metal though and say AFI. They fucking ruled. Best show I've ever seen. |

All I really have is a long and distinguished list of gigs I have been unable to attend . The joys of growing up in the country.
I go to local gigs whenever I can but have only been to a handful of big (read 'sydney') gigs.
I went to both Bodom gigs, Although they were not the best performances, it was easily one of the best weekends I've ever had. |
