i really need a bass tab for Hybrid Stigmata by Dimmu Borgir. as you can see by my profile name, i love that fuckin song lol. so please, someone let me in on all the goodness lol
I'm not too sure where you could find it i'm afraid, but gennerally DB basslines mimic the main chords, although there are a few tricky turnarounds from to time to time.
It's been a long long time since I played, but what I used to do was record a song on to tape and play it at a slower speed, and pump the eq at around 125-175 htz, although you have to play around a bit to get the frequencey right (or better still, if you have computer sound software, dump it into that and play around). Makes the song sound like shit but may help the bass stick out some more... (mind you, I only ever tried to play older DB stuff, not so layered ot technical)
