I think that we are gonna be in this war for another 20 years. No lie. Because once the war ends, then they preisdent woever it may be won't have the war time powers act to back him up and they won't have the power to do whatever they he pleases. How many more nations do you think are going to get dragged into this thing? It is only going to get alot worse than it already has, we haven't scratched the surface now that Saddam is dead.

Iran is next. we are spread thin but there have been many sources saying we already have covert ops there and we are trying to dismantle them from inside. dont be suprised when bush anounces we are at "war" with iran. im niether democrat or republican. i hate all politicians. even independents. they all have there own personal agenda.

I think they went to Iraq with the intentions to stop a nuke weapons program. yet failed to find any. Suprise! Iran has one.
We will never attack Iran, unless they strike first. Right now, the leadership in Iran is as popular as Bush is in the USA. THey are also very westernized compared to many in the middle east. So war isnt viable against Iran, we just have to wait out the idiots incharge and not empower them by attacking.
As for how long this war will go on for, the war on terror. It will last decades. We have multiple generation of muslims brainwashed into hating the west. We cant kill enough of them to keep them from killing us.
Recently though, a big turn around has happened. Iraqi militias have been attacking Arab insurgents while working with the USA. So Alqaeda is losing support from locals.
The war will come to a quick end if the pope or some other major christian leader is killed by some muslims. The christinas might get mad enough to actually start killing muslims. At least I hope so. Cuz our world cant keep going if we alow a quarter of the population to encourage hate and murder.
