Immortal (x3 best was the 2nd time in '07)
Celtic Frost ('06 x2)
Emperor ('06 x 2)
Children of Bodom (x4, the 2 Aussie shows I saw were best)
Sodom (Inferno, joind by Abbath on stage, '07)
Zyklon (x2, 1st sucked, 2nd was AWESOME)
Kampfar (x2 '06, '07)
Rammstein, (BDO '00 or '01??)
Janes Addiction (04 or 05 and fuck off, I don't care, I like them.)
Several of the above were seen at Wacken '06, '07, Inferno '07 and Hole in the Sky '06. Inferno and Hole in The Sky are relatively samll venues so it wasn't like being at a festival \m/.
Want/would like to have seen
Iron Maiden (again - headlining Wacken '08 so will get to again this year)
Arcturus (never gonna happen now...)

That's just 10, hard to pick just 10. Other noteworthys: Motorhead, Disgorge, Dismember, Sodom, Destroyer 666, Damaged (on a good night), Rose Tattoo (likewise, on a good night), the Exploited, Insect Warfare, the Radiators (fuck these cunts rock harder than most "metal" bands I've seen, and the youngest original member is old enough to be my old man)... fuck this could go for ages....

Rose Tattoo (on a bad night)
Damaged (on a bad night)
Ozzy Osbourne (not Ozzy so much, but I wasn't impressed with his back-up band at all)
Motley Crue (Motorhead blew them off the stage, full stop)
Guns N Roses (both times they got blown off the stage by the supports)
The last 3 in particular, especially given the fact that all were over $100, and in the last 2 cases, the supports killed them. Waste of time, money and adrenalin. I'd rather stay at home, punch cones and listen to them on CD.

Just obtained a copy of "Hated". Interesting viewing. I would have liked to have seen more live footage, though. |
