List here all the releases that have come out recently, for references sake.
First up I'll mention Deathspell Omega has released a new full-length, Kénôse, as well as 2 split's which are both going to be very obscure. |

Kénöse is out on digipack CD, I think it's at Red Stream but I'm not sure, and I've seen it at No Colours, Anja Offensive and a couple of others. I emailed Dani from GoatowaRex and he said he wasn't sure if he'd be getting stock of them, because he'd have to sell the releases for $20 each and he's not happy to do that... or something. All I know is, if you want it soon, better order international.
I'm getting the LP from Anja |

Demons & Wizards - Touched by the Crimson King
Not as good as their first album but not too bad! Will review this one... |

Slough Feg - Atavism is owning me in ways I cannot begin to explain. New thread pending.
New Witchcraft album "Firewood" is due out in the coming days. Apparently it's more proggy than the s/t, which was one of my favourites of last year.
The new Pelican album "The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw" is immense, epic, and absolutely splendorous, but IMO not quite as good as Australisia. We shall see though. |

Naglfar's Pariah should be a pretty solid slab of melodic black metal, if uninspired and completely unoriginal. I'll be looking into it for sure. |

I've heard that Naglfar's new one is in vein of Sheol and starting to head towards the general direction of death metal.
No suprise really, they haven't released anything worthwhile since Diabolical. |

I don't think they've ever released anything "worthwhile", but all their released are fun and enjoyable to listen once or twice a year. |

New Nile is out... I may look into it.
This new Rudra "Brahmavidya: Primodial I" came as a bit of a surprise too. Recommended VERY highly for any fans of Nile or Melechesh, though as far as I'm concerned they're better than Nile.
The latest Wyrd has completely failed to grab my attention or achieve anything interesting. Huldrafolk was great, but this is just... so boring. |

Then I recommend to you the new Rudra. I'll give a listen to Nile later today. |

Nevermore - The Godless Endeavour.
Apparently its pretty wicked. I don't know whether it has simply leaked or if it has been released (im guessing the former), but I'm going to check this out. Enemies of Reality was diappointing, but I enjoyed Dead Heart in a Dead World immensely and others like;
-Politics of Ecstasy, and
-Dreaming Neon Black
were enjoyable. |
