Decadent just sent me some Lord Weird Slough Feg - off the new album "Atavism".
I've been listening to the same two songs for the last 30 minutes or so (the songs are around 3-4mins each).
I'm having a blast! They rule. We were discussing how to describe them - and it was suggested to be Heavy Metal with strong folkish influences (but in a different way to something like Primordial) in that its presented in a very power metal style.
But the bottom line is, these songs are both a tonne of fun and I was told all their albums are solid releases.
Lord Weird Slough Feg - CHECK THEM OUT RIGHT NOW~!~ |

I will consider naming my first death metal venture "Beating a Very Dead Horse". |

One of my personal favourites is 'Highlander' off Twilight of the Idols, the riff makes me wanna go ride a horse and swing round a big sword!
