Dan Quayle reminded us that nothing is as sacred as the bondage between mother and child. What he meant to say of course, was that nothing is as ball-tearing as Of Human Bondage by Angel Dust. Not as good as Enlighten the Darkness I don`t think, that album will be their masterpiece, but fantastic all the same. It seems to have a heavier edge than Darkness, and more groove. The album picks up in the second half, with songs like `Forever` leading the charge.
Heavy as fuck but with awesome melodic moments. I hear Angel Dust have split, which is a tragedy, but they leave behind a legacy of fantastic releases. This album also gets my vote for coolest cover of 2002.
