I noticed in a lot of people's favourites for this year Slough feg's Atavism. This is a great disc but I am curious-
What to you guys think of their previous releases? I have not heard the first self- titled disc but Twilight Of The Idols and Down Among The Deadmen are great, Down Among The dead Men never comes out of my car. The Traveller was not up to the previous two, but they struck back with Atavism. What do you guys think???

Truthfully haven't listened to the others at any great length. I hear Down Among the Dead Men is their best, so I'll definitely check that out! Where did you get the discs from Luke? The only place I've seen them sold is at evillegendrecords ... which I guess I'm going to have to use soonish |

I'm in the same boat as misfit. I've only heard a small selection of their works which has been highly impressive. Will definitely have to check out their earlier stuff! |

I got them off my mate, he got them from a second hand place in Newcastle a few years ago. Lately I have just been putting in a search on Ebay, you can get Ebay to email you when whatever you are looking for is up for auction, this is how I have gotten a few discs that are hard to get. Also maybe try Metal mayhem in Melbourne?? This shop is great- a must for any visitors to Melbourne (as well as Ned Kelly's Armour). If Metal Mayhem don't have it they will definetely be able to get it for you.

For a starting point Down Among the Dead Men is a must!!

Traveller is my favourite by far, although it took quite a while to get into. I've had Down Among the Deadmen for about 2 years now and while I enjoy it a great deal, I don't think it quite reaches the hights they've managed with the most recent 2 albums. Twilight of the Idols is also great, though I need to listen to it more, and I haven't yet heard the self titled album, but I'm keeping an eye out for it. |
