Right, well just basically creating a separate identity for itself because i know some people (like me usually) dont read threads in their 9th or 10th pages - too much to catch up on.
So more to the point start listing - its the top 10 metal albums of all time, which excludes rock that is often confused with metal. (e.g. Guns N' Roses)

This is always impossible to answer. We already know the most well established bands around the globe are/were: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Death, Opeth, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Dream Theater and Overkill. (You can add 666 or should that be 616 more?). Pick a best album by thsoe bands and you've got the top 10. (In no particular order).
Besides, everytime I list my number 10 it changes as soon as I hit post reply. I also agree with most of your posts, particularly the thrash choices. |

ooops i meant Show No Mercy i have no idea why i typed that 
I can understand why you dont like Darkthrone, i wasnt a huge fan when i first heard them but i continued to listen and they are pretty damn orsom in my books.

Maybe you should create a "Top 10 Unsung Heros" thread. It pretty hard to make a top 10 of the best bands of all time without having your slayers, maidens and sabbaths. Sure there is pleanty of orsom brutal music around today but they really can never compare to the greats. Prolly wouldnt see half the bands today without them. |
