 Soundworks Touring and Dalkhu Records have revealed massive changes to the next instalment of Aussie METALSTOCK Festival, set to take place during Easter Long Weekend in Sydney in the new year. Statement from organisers is as follows:
“On behalf of Dalkhu Records, a massive thanks and a big horns up goes out to the Metalstock community and to everyone who has visited the Metalstock camp or is currently supporting the festivals continuality in 2008.”
“This festival is for the metal - community, family & friends of Metalstock and its supporters. It has been, and is only possible, because of the commitment and passion that the Metalstock warriors be it punter, band, sponsor, media or investors have shown for the festival over the last 3 years.”
"The year 2008 sees the fourth instalment of this rapidly growing Australian metal festival and with that comes very exciting and promising news. 18 March @ Acer Arena; Sydney
20 March @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre; Brisbane

| AMON AMARTH To Tour Australia In January. |

SMiM writes "Swedish death metallers AMON AMARTH have announced dates for the band's first ever Australian Tour. The tour is part of Wrath of the Norseman World Tour 2008.
Adding to the already congested touring season, the band will hit 5 Australian cities along with Auckland, New Zealand.

It has been revealed the Finnish symphonic/power metal group NIGHTWISH will be returning to Australia at the start of 2008. Known dates are as follows:
Jan 27 @ Metro Fremantle; Perth (18+)
Jan 29 @ HQ; Adelaide (All Ages)
Jan 30 @ Palais Theatre; Melbourne (All Ages)
Feb 01 @ Enmore Theatre; Sydney (All Ages)
Feb 02 @ The Tivoli; Brisbane (All Ages)
The 2008 tour will be without 'Tarja' who departed the band in 2005. Tickets on sale 9am, October 18th.
