DREADNAUGHT Announces Release Date for New LP.

Australia NewsAnonymous writes "Australian hard rock / metal band DREADNAUGHT have just announced that their new LP CD will be available as download and as a physical product in stores from May 1st. Due to the signing of a distribution agreement through Amphead Music, the LP will be available as a download from iTunes and in good record stores. Amphead are a leading player in online distribution, and although a relatively new label, have an experienced team of promotional and A&R staff.

The self-titled LP CD, Dreadnaught’s 5th studio release since 1993, represents a 16 year milestone for the band. Vocalist Greg Trull had this to say about the writing and recording of the LP.

“… When this band goes into the studio its all about making a record that expresses ourselves as us, and not as an imitation of whatever brand of heavy metal is popular at that particular time. It’s about being honest with yourself and honest with your fans, because if you’re not, then you’re ripping them and you off…”

Dreadnaught’s new LP CD will be available for download from iTunes, and in all good record stores from May 1st.

ANNO DOMINI MORTUS To Play Melbourne's MARCH OF DARKNESS Festival In April.

Australia NewsWhite Noise Productions is proud to present New Zealand Black Metal project, ANNO DOMINI MORTUS live on stage at the Arthouse, 616 Elizabeth St. Melbourne this Good Friday Eve, Thursday April 9th.

Performing alongside another five-star lineup comprised of the best of Victorian and New South Wales Black Metal, March of Darkness is set to explode on stage as perhaps the purest concentration of musical diabolism the Arthouse has seen, with Order of Orias leading Vrag (NSW), Erebus Enthroned (NSW) and Adamus Exul, fresh from their Demo release show at the East Brunswick Club into an unadulterated aural holocaust.

The Melbourne leg of a national tour for ANNO DOMINI MORTUS, Vrag and Erebus Enthroned, this will be an incredibly aggressive and visual performance and a taste of what’s in store for the remainder of 2009.

Doors: 8pm, Entry $15 ($12 w/Flier).
