Most bands classed as 'viking' are more likely to have a lyrical theme rather than a musically based genre. But how the hell do you classify viking esque Bathory? The only way i can think of describing it is as Viking metal. |

Yes! both play viking themed music (Manowar were one of the first- check out Into Glory Ride from 1982) and both wear incredibly ridiculous outfits! Codpieces and fluffy boots ahoy!! |
